Theresa (Teri) Britts
As founding and managing partner of a full-service accounting firm, Teri has over 30 years of accounting and assurance experience. She offers personal service to her clients and has a talent for understanding their individual needs. Her clients come from multiple business sectors: construction to real estate, restaurant to wholesale distribution, investment to healthcare. She has supervised audits for a diverse pool of clients including credit unions, hospitals, nonprofits, consulting firms, for-profits, and government-funded entities. She also provides management advisory services including due diligence for business transactions, operational analyses, expert witness testimony, negotiations with banks and government, investment analysis, and company reorganizations for estate and asset protection.
She holds a double major in Accounting and Business Management from MacMurray College and is a Certified Public Accountant. Since graduation, she has continued to maintain over 40 hours of professional education each year. She values the support of her multitalented and diverse team, investing in their training, both inhouse and through continuing professional education. Active in the community, Teri serves on the Board of the Alamo City Black Chamber of Commerce (past Treasurer and Chair) and served over five years on the Community Development Loan Fund board (Treasurer and Chair). She has participated in Big Brothers & Sisters and Business Network International, and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Texas Society of CPAs.
Teri's professional experiences before beginning her own practice include being Tax Manager at Hardin, Wolff, Bradley & Co. CPA's and also Audit/Tax supervisor at Kerber, Eck, & Braeckel CPA's.
